🌱 First Steps

This guide is designed for new players who have just entered Oroza RO. Here you will find the recommended order to start correctly: learn the basics, begin the quest for your first Pokémon, claim your starter packs, and continue your training until you obtain your first Loyal Pokémon and the Attack Order skill.

📌 Quick Recommendation

Do not leave the Training Zone too early. First, talk to the initial NPCs, claim your Starter Pack, claim your Class Pack, and progress through the First Pokémon quest.

🧭 Recommended Starting Route

Follow these steps in order to take advantage of all the initial benefits of the server.

1️⃣ Talk to the New Player Guide NPC

NPC: New Player Guide / Novice Roan.
Location: new_zone01, 67, 135.
This NPC explains the basics of the game and the server.
It teaches you about movement, combat, stats, levels, job changes, skills, and useful commands.
It also allows you to select your interface language if you have not configured it yet.

This command opens a guide for your current map and shows nearby important NPCs.

2️⃣ Start the First Pokémon Quest

NPC: First Pokémon Quest / Professor Willow.
Location: new_zone01, 67, 139.
Professor Willow will guide you to begin your path toward your first Pokémon.
You will need to collect basic materials by defeating monsters in the area.
After completing his test, you will continue the process to choose your starter Pokémon.

⚠️ Important Before Continuing

Before leaving the first area, walk toward the castle entrance by crossing the bridge. There you will find the NPCs to claim your Starter Pack and your Class Pack. These packs are very important to start with an advantage.

🎁 Starter Packs

After crossing the bridge toward the castle entrance, you will find two important NPCs: the Starter Pack and the Class Pack.

3️⃣ Claim your Starter Pack

NPC: Starter Pack.
Location: new_zone01, 142, 116.
This pack is given as initial support for new players.
It is recommended to have enough space and weight available before claiming it.
If your weight is 50% or higher, the NPC will ask you to store items in Storage.

🛑 Claim Limit

The Starter Pack can only be claimed once. The system checks account, device, and IP to prevent duplicate claims.

4️⃣ Claim your Class Pack

NPC: Class Pack.
Location: new_zone01, 142, 106.
This NPC gives you a basic pack depending on the class you choose.
You can only choose 1 pack, so select carefully.
The pack cannot be changed after claiming it.

🛑 One-Time Claim

The Class Pack is also limited to one claim. The system checks account, device, and IP to prevent abuse.

Each Class Pack gives basic equipment designed to help you start with that class. You can only claim one, so choose the pack for the class you truly plan to play.

Choose the pack for the class you plan to play. If you are still unsure, talk to the New Player Guide NPC first to review a basic explanation of each class before claiming it.

🐾 Continue the First Pokémon Quest

After claiming your packs, continue the First Pokémon quest to obtain a Loyal companion and unlock the Attack Order skill.

📖 First Pokémon Quest Summary

Talk to Professor Willow in the Training Zone.
Collect the basic materials he requests by defeating nearby monsters.
Once Willow approves your test, continue toward the Pokémon Center.
Nurse Joy will allow you to choose your starter Pokémon: Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle.
Return to the Training Zone and cross the bridge toward the castle.
Talk to the Missions NPC and complete the Initial Mission.
With your Pokémon out of its egg and the required report ready, talk to Ash Ketchum.
Ash will make your Pokémon Loyal and teach you the Attack Order skill.

⚔️ Skill: Attack Order

The Attack Order skill is very important for Pokémon Trainers, as it allows you to manually order your Pokémon which enemy to attack during combat.

This skill is obtained as part of the final step of the initial quest with Ash Ketchum, as long as you meet the quest requirements.

👥 Other characters on the account

If you have other characters and need the Attack Order skill, you can obtain it through a quest with Professor Oak in Prontera.

⚠️ Important First Pokémon Rule

The free starter Pokémon is limited to prevent abuse. Choose carefully between Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle, since this will be your main free starter.

💡 Tips for New Players

Use @guia if you do not know where to go.
Do not claim the Class Pack until you are sure which class you want to play.
Equip the Novice gear from the Starter Pack before training.
Use your potions and manuals carefully to progress faster.
Complete the First Pokémon quest as soon as possible to obtain a Loyal Pokémon.
The Attack Order skill is key to better controlling your Pokémon in combat.
