🔎 Event: Poring Catcher

Welcome to the Poring Catcher minigame! In this automated event, you must find the only real Poring among a large number of imposters. Pay close attention to the name and appearance of each monster, because if you attack the wrong one, you will be eliminated from the round.

📋 How to Participate

When the event is announced globally, type @joinevent to join.
You will be warped to the event map.
Upon entering, all your buffs will be automatically removed.
If you are already inside the event map, the system will notify you that you are already participating.
Once registration closes, you will no longer be able to join the current round.

⏳ Event Frequency

The event triggers automatically approximately every 2 to 4 hours.

After server restarts or initial activations, the first event may take approximately 1 to 2 hours to appear.

When the event is announced, players have 3 minutes to use @joinevent before registration closes and the search begins.

🚫 Map Restrictions

To ensure everyone participates on equal terms, the event map has several restrictions:

You cannot use skills. You will only be able to use basic attacks.
Teleport, Warp, Memo, or Branches are not allowed.
There are no item drops on the event map.
If you die or disconnect inside the event, you will be sent back to your save point.

⚠️ Main Mechanic: Find the Real Poring

When the round starts, 99 fake Porings and only 1 real Poring will spawn.

The goal is to find and defeat the only real Poring.
The real Poring is named Poring and uses the normal pink Poring appearance.
Imposters may have similar names, typos, or even be named Poring but with a different appearance.
If you attack or kill an imposter, you will be immediately eliminated from the round.
Upon elimination, your HP and SP will be reduced to almost zero, and you will be sent back to your save point.
The event ends when someone defeats the only real Poring.

👀 Types of Imposters

Not all imposters are the same. Some have very similar names, and others try to confuse you by using the correct name with the wrong appearance.

Imposter Type	Examples	Tip
Similar names	Pouring, Proing, Poirng, Poing, Porng	Read carefully before attacking. Some change only a single letter.
Reversed or deceptive names	Gnirop, Not a Poring	Don't rely solely on appearance. Always check the name.
Special characters	Por\|ng, Por1ng, P0ring, P@ring	They might look like "Poring" at first glance, but they are not the real one.
Fakes with the correct name	Poring with the appearance of Drops or Poporing	The real Poring must be named Poring and have the appearance of a normal pink Poring.

🏆 Winner's Rewards

The player who defeats the real Poring will receive guaranteed base rewards plus 1 random prize from the event's list.

⚠️ Cancellations

If there are no participants when registration closes, the event is automatically canceled.
If all players attack imposters and are eliminated, the event ends without a winner.
If a GM cancels the event manually, all players inside the map will be warped out.
The event will not start normally if another event is active or WoE is ongoing.

Can I use Area of Effect (AoE) damage to find it faster?
No. The map has skills disabled, so you must move and use basic attacks.

What happens if I attack the wrong Poring?
You will be eliminated from the round, your HP and SP will be reduced to almost zero, and you will be sent to your save point.

How do I recognize the real Poring?
It must be named Poring and have the appearance of a normal pink Poring. Be careful, because some imposters might have similar names or use the name Poring with a different appearance.

What happens if all players make a mistake?
If everyone is eliminated by attacking imposters, the event is automatically canceled, and there will be no winner for that round.

Is the random prize chosen per player?
No. Only the winner receives the base rewards and 1 random prize from the event's list.

Can I re-enter if I am eliminated?
No. Once the round has started, registrations are closed. If you are eliminated, you must wait for the next event.
